This house was designed with the intention for it to reflect the four elements of nature: earth, wind, fire and water. Characteristics of these elements are pronounced through color and choice of materials in the landscape, architecture and interior of the house.
In particular, these elements were used to harmonize between soft and hardscape as well as interior aspects of the house. For instance the rectangular green garden represents the lush element of earth. Opposite this is the rectangular deep blue infinity pool juxtaposed against the brown teak wood. The openness in this area evoke elements of wind as well as water. Behind this is the TV room which has a panoramic glass fan window and an onyx as a back drop. The element of fire is revealed in this onyx through its fine and subtle red lines.
This concept of nature later became the central theme in designing the architecture of the house. The idea was to help the family live naturally in it. To apply this, the main kitchen was built right next to the garage to facilitate the process of transferring groceries from the car. In front of the main kitchen is a soft one suitable for basic and light meals. In front of the soft kitchen is the dinning room to help transfer food effortlessly from the kitchens. In front of that is the TV room of with the panoramic view of the infinity pool and the lake of the compound. Next to the TV room is a huge reception with a fire place. Also on the ground floor is a small study next to the guest bathroom. This area can also be transformed into a guest room.
There are four rooms on the second floor. 1 master bedroom with a sitting area, bathroom and changing room. 2 rooms with ensuite bathrooms and one room. There is a huge balcony on the facade of this floor.
The basement is divided into 5 main functional areas. The first part can be accessed from outside the house. It has 2 rooms and one bathroom. It is suitable for drivers and service men. The second part can be accessed from inside the house. In this area are 2 rooms and a bathroom for domestic help. The third part has 2 storage rooms. The fourth part consists of 1 service area for pool maintenance. The fifth part is the changing room and bathroom. This can be accessed from outside the house next to the garden.
